I qualified from Bharti Vidyapeeth’s Dental College and Hospital, University of Pune, India in January 1997. Having completed one year of pre-registration house officer rotation, I then worked as a senior house officer post in general dentistry in India before moving to the UK.
In 2003 I commenced postgraduate clinical endodontic training at Manchester University, for which I was awarded an MSc in September 2004. I then worked as a Hospital Dental practitioner at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary before commencing my vocational training at Marketgate Dental Practice in December 2007. At the end of my training period, I continued on at Marketgate as an associate dentist and have worked there ever since.
Additional to speaking fluent English I also speak native Hindi, Marathi and Punjabi. I have two children who are both studying medicine at University.
